Anger Issues It's The Little Things That Annoy Me, And Sometimes the Big Ones

I think that most people are decent, hardworking folk. The kind of people that will be there if you need help, or will return your wallet if found on the ground instead of stealing it. But there is a small percentage of people that do things that really piss me the hell off. Maybe I'm just a curmudgeon or I have anger issues, but lately my minor annoyances are causing me to have a more visceral reaction. Visceral in that minor offenses should result in public hangings. Not really of course, but a flogging every now and again would do wonders for society. And it would make for great YouTube material. So what are some of these things that annoy me. One of the newer annoyances, and this is due to technology, is people using their phones, and I use the term phones loosely, to play music while out in public. I have even seen this kind of immoral behavior while out hiking. Kind of defeats the entire purpose of getting out into the woods. I've seen, or rather heard, people using their phones as their personal DJ while grocery shopping. I really don't need to hear songs about hoes and guns while shopping with my children. The more respectful amongst us have realized for a very long time that headphones and earbuds do exist. And what is the point of playing your music for everyone publicly. It's not going to make you cool. It's not going to convince people to listen to it. The only reaction to it is going to be annoyance and possible confrontations. I would love to set up a booth and hand out free ear buds for anyone who wants them. Unbeknownst to the customer will be that the earbuds only play country music. Now that will show them how it feels to be forced to listen to insufferable music. Staying on the topic of music, I understand that music played at the beach is a tradition. But when you're on a beach full of families, maybe turn down the awful vulgar garbage that you have turned up to eleven (hopefully, dear reader, you get this reference). Sadly this happens with adults as well as with teenagers. I can almost give the teenagers a free pass because they're still young and idiotic. We all were there. Well, I was just young but for everyone else this rings true. Again, play your music but keep it so no one else has to listen to it. Even worse than the vulgar music is the Hispanic selections in which every single song has the same beat. There must be only one song in Puerto Rico with many variations. And I know that you know what I'm talking about. Lately, within the past few years, I have really really really become angry at people that park along the fire lane at our local Stop and Shop. They literally block the cross walk and park there because their fat ass can't walk an extra ten feet to the store. And if there's one thing that these people need, it's a few extra steps. And I'm not just talking about people who park there for a second to drop and elderly person off, that is completely acceptable, but if you're young and have made poor dietary choices, I don't have pity for you. Park you fat ass in a normal spot like everyone else. And if you can't walk that far, well, you have more serious issues than parking. Maybe you should shop at Whole Foods instead and pick up some vegetables. You know, those greenish things that you walk right by. Vaping pisses me off. If you're going to have an addictive habit, at least make it cool, like smoking a cigar or pipe. Or even a cigarette. Vaping makes you look like a tool, you all are just afraid to admit it. Driving has made me a bitter person, for many reasons. One such reason is people who don't know how to use an on ramp. An on ramp is the area where a car should get up to speed in order to enter the highway. It is not a place to go 20MPH until the last minute then try and merge into traffic going much faster than you. Get your ass in gear and floor that thing. Being stuck behind this type of driver drives me insane and probably causes a large majority of the accidents on the road. Related to that are drivers who feel the need to use the highway as their own personal race track. They have no respect for other drivers, and I'm sorry, if you hit my vehicle while I'm with my children, if the crash didn't kill you then I will. Stupid assholes. The motorcycles don't bother me too much because they're almost certainly going to die at some point because of their idiotic driving. I call that poetic justice. There are many other things that get my goat, pun intended, but I don't want to jam too much stuff in one post. Stay tuned for round two, I'll be sure to get myself more angry for that one.
